About Us

Greenville Seminary is committed to training passionate, articulate preachers of the Gospel in the historic Reformed faith. All degree programs emphasize personal piety, knowledge of the Word, and application of the Word.

The Seminary primarily prepares men for the Gospel ministry through the Divinity Program (B.D., M.Div.), but also offers other opportunities for study. The Master of Ministry for Ruling Elders (M.M.R.E.) is offered to ordained Ruling Elders seeking further education and to other men approved by their session. The Master of Arts (M.A.) is offered to those who are neither ordained nor seeking ordination.

The Office of Development and Recruiting is the seminary's arm for advancing the institution's financial foundations through the encouragement of seminary-oriented stewardship by God's people. The office is also charged with bringing the seminary's opportunities to potential students called to the Gospel ministry. The development office provides tools for traditional or electronic giving, and, in partnership with the PCA Foundation, tools for planned giving and estate planning.
